All slides and most photos need adjustment to correct for aging that causes fading and the loss or change of colour, the most common being turning purple.

 We don’t rely on computers to guess the correct colours, each photo or slide is individually corrected and enhanced. This is a time consuming process but we believe this is one of the reasons our transfers are so highly regarded.

Where cropping is required we do so by eye, trimming the least important section of the photo. So many photo houses use software that just removes the top and bottom, often producing photos with the tops of heads cut off.

We don’t use dust removal filters which, while saving a lot of time, always blur your photos. Instead each image is inspected & any minor specks or blemishes are removed electronically by a skilled operator.
